An exhibition of new works from nine recent graduates of the MA Contemporary Photography course, Central Saint Martins.

As individual artists, and collectively, we explore possibilities of the image beyond the traditional medium of the photographic print or digital image.

​

Through our practices, we seek to recontextualise the photographic medium as that of a multi-disciplinary platform; from which to embrace the photographic image in alternative formats: sculpture, performance, video and new media technology.

​

We apply the basic principles of photography to investigate notions of rhythm, the self and identity, truth and representation, and technological production of new media.

​

The works featured in this exhibition are predominantly paper-based. Here, our examination of the photographic acknowledges this material and tradition. We undertake creative processes of interrogation and translation, to realise new expressions.

​

We aim to challenge viewers to rethink their perceptions of the limits of the photographic.
